# Master quality-control checklist

Run this against the finished output before creating a human approval step. The goal is that
the person approving is confirming a result that already passed, not performing the first
check themselves. The specific numbers below match the real recovery; replace them with
whatever your own format actually requires.

## Video

- [ ] Frame size matches the target format (checked: 1920×1080).
- [ ] No visible artifact, freeze frame, or corrupted segment across the full duration.
- [ ] No cut, join or transition longer than the maximum you allow. (Not itself measured in
the real recovery; add your own tooling for this if your format needs it.)

## Audio

- [ ] Loudness is within your target range (checked: -19.8 LUFS).
- [ ] No audible clipping, dropout, or misaligned narration segment.
- [ ] No silence in the narration track longer than the maximum you allow (checked: no audio
silence over 2 seconds anywhere in the track).

## Sync

- [ ] Video duration and audio duration match within your tolerance (checked: 755.167 s video
      against 755.160 s audio, a 7 ms difference).
- [ ] Subtitles, if present, track the audio without drift across the full duration.

## Format and metadata

- [ ] Aspect ratio matches what was requested (checked: landscape 16:9).
- [ ] Title, description and any chapter markers are present and match the approved content
      plan.

## Content

- [ ] Any factual claim in narration or on-screen text has already passed an independent
fact-check pass before this point. A quality gate on format is not a substitute for
      checking claims.

## Before the gate opens

- [ ] Every item above is checked and dated.
- [ ] The result (pass or fail, with the specific failing item) is recorded on the ticket, not
      only in a local log.
- [ ] Only after every item passes does the ticket move to a human approval step. The human
approves the release decision; they do not re-run this checklist from scratch.
